Welcome to another episode of Marketing 101 for Chiropractors. It's 2025. And if we're not talking about AI, we are way behind the game as far as this. So I want you to embrace AI this year. I want you to embrace all the features that are out there, and artificial intelligence, I don't think is the best word for this. It's still apps. It's still just using different apps, like if I told you artificial intelligence was canvacom, you'd be like wait a minute, I've been using Canva for a long time.
Speaker 1:Well, there you go, that you're using things that help speed up content creation, and we're gonna go through different categories of AI and apps that you can use in your business to dramatically create more efficiency in your practice. By getting appointments automatically booked, your patients using apps to just book their appointments and get in with you and reducing the friction to transaction, you streamline your business for constant revenue, which is absolutely fantastic, and when you do this, you can take pressure off of your current staff members and have them doing more productive stuff and more pressure off of you so that you can do more productive stuff and help more people. That's the key with AI. So by listening in, today it's all about thinking this way how do I make my practice and my business more efficient utilizing apps or features that can really strengthen the flow and process of my practice? There's things you can't work around, like billing and insurance and all that stuff just takes time and credentialing and all that and checking for insurance before someone starts and all the stuff that goes with insurance. But even if you're with insurance, you can still streamline other things to make things more efficient. And if you're not, you're cash-based man the world is your oyster as far as making this super streamlined to your ideal client. If you're strictly a Medicare-based office and that's all you do, be careful with how many apps you throw at your niche and your patients, because they may not adapt to that as quickly. But for many of us, we're helping the whole demographic of people from 20 to 70 years old, and many people in that category, in that age range, are all technological and have an iPhone or have a phone or have some type of thing that they can use this to help you and your business mitigate a lot of the things that are in there.
Speaker 1:I think we're getting overwhelmed with stuff because we're doing a lot of things old school and the world's moving a lot faster. So if that feels like you in business, where you're like man, I feel like it's just. Things are just getting more complicated. I feel like things are just. We do too much. We have all this stuff and it's just not organized and we barely use this and we barely use that.
Speaker 1:This is the time to revamp this whole thing and we're going to go through this stuff in a few different categories, like AI, tools for social media marketing. How do we make social media easier for you? And I think the three best things for that are Canva, just to make content easier. Even videos on there are easy to just put up. Make them the right size for Instagram and Facebook and then you launch them. Chat, gpt to help create engaging captions for this stuff or even paragraphs to go with your videos that you're putting out there in your blog post. You can even write blog posts there in your ad copy for your ads, there in your ad copy for your ads.
Speaker 1:And then having some type of social media auto launcher out there, like Later or Hootsuite we use, simplified for 20 something bucks a month, pretty easy. It blasts all of our platforms TikTok, facebook, instagram, x and both of our offices and all that. So we have like seven or eight or nine LinkedIn I don't know every and it just mixes and matches things over the course of a month. You book one two months in advance. So our team's on it, they're always ahead of it. They're always getting things posted by using these apps.
Speaker 1:So if you don't like the word AI, think of apps, the old school way of this stuff to integrate intelligence to help you move faster. So that's for social media. Those are the three top things there Canva, chat, gpt and simplified social or later, or Hootsuite, whatever you're using. A meta business suite even has a calendar. That's strictly for Facebook and Instagram, but we're talking about every. Even high level has a social media platform planner that you could use on your back end and put all your handles in there and then post media straight from there as well. So any crm can do this as well. So there's a lot out there. But think outside the box on these things that can help you move faster, even maybe revamping your ehr and I know that's such a huge pain in the butt but finding one that is optimized and up to date and futuristic for your type of practice. If you're a younger doc, you know closer to 30, you've got your whole career ahead of you. Your niche practice is going to be around your age group, around 30 year olds that are going to be coming in just because that's what you're going to be attracting these young families.
Speaker 1:Using apps, using SCED or using TrackStep or using a review wave type tools where patients can just book their appointments, make things a lot easier on your team. These are just no-brainers as far as AI or apps that you can be using to help move your practice forward. And what about content creation? Jasper, lumen5, otterai these are all just examples where you can write blog posts, emails, ad copy and targeted patient pain points. You can generate scripts for videos and podcasts.
Speaker 1:I use Opusai for all my video content. Put it in there. It gives me all these real clips for 30 seconds, 60 seconds from that longer video content like, let's say, a podcast. It can be 25 minutes long and then you put this thing in there and it shoots out 30,. You know between 30 seconds and 90 seconds because you can set the parameters with captions and all the cool stuff in there and you're off to a races. It's pretty cool stuff to be using to help speed up this stuff and get this stuff done. The reason we can't get this stuff done is because it takes time.
Speaker 1:Sit there, sit in front of the camera, shoot long form content in the office, active, whatever, maybe. Then you did this on your iphone. Now you're like, oh my god, how am I going to email this to myself? To do it on a desktop or all the. And then you end up not doing it because it's such a pain in the butt. But right from your iPhone or your Google whatever you're using Android you put it straight to YouTube. Beautiful. Now you've got a YouTube MP4 that you can use that and send it to any AI which can clip this for you, revamp it for you, make it sound better, make it look better, do all these things. And then all you got to do is just put it into latercom or simplified social and then, boom, scatter it across all all your stuff. Isn't that? Isn't that awesome?
Speaker 1:Some other ai powered seo tools, so surfer seo, sem rush you've seen me use this before and google search console. Google search console is free. You go in there and it's pretty much showing you where all your traffic is coming from, so that you can strengthen those keywords and then start strengthening other keywords by creating content around that stuff to help you search higher organically for people looking for solutions from that. That has got to be your best marketing strategy, as far as anything goes, is the organic finding of you for people searching for your services. You want to not only compete with your competitors, but you want to be searchable and falling at the top so that people are like, oh, this person helps with headaches, this person helps with babies, this person helps with colic, whatever it may be You're finding you're offering the solution to problems people are searching for and that comes with seo. So using these tools uh, helps you. Uh, you know identify. So your your best chiropractor near me. You rank number one chiropractor near me. Rank number one um. Chiropractor for blank. Chiropractor for this blank, uh, you're ranking number one.
Speaker 1:That's how you do this is by process of elimination and strengthening your keywords with content creation around those keywords. That's better and more productive than being active. That's how you get those things done For automation, active campaign, many chat, hubspot, I mean. Even though I'm giving you all these ideas, by no way do you need all of this stuff or even half of this stuff. You don't need to buy subscriptions to all of these things. You pick the tools that are your business. Growth is the time to do this stuff. So just shooting the videos tends to be the time consuming, but once you get good at this, you can turn on your phone, hit record and shoot the video in one take. And you just get good at this because you understand that done is better than perfect. So once you get over that, now the content is done, which is the hardest part.
Speaker 1:Now we can use AI tools like CapCut, canva, opus AI, where you just plug it right into there and then boom, a little bit of editing and you're off to the races. That's why I love Opus AI no editing, I put it straight to YouTube, I send it to Opus. Opus gives me a whole bunch of clips. Those are all reels and we're running. It's the best way to do. That are all reels and we're running. It's the best way to do that.
Speaker 1:Now, when it comes to advertising Google ads, meta everything has their own AI built in now Ad, creative, ad optimization it's all in there. You don't need to go to other stuff. But if you want to look at adcreativeai, you can generate high converting ad designs for headlines for Facebook, google and Instagram ads, and that's where you see the bold and the emojis and those things in the ad copy. Ad creative AI is one of those that does it. Again, another fee for something you really don't need to be doing because you can just create the text on your own or on ChatSuite. He can help you with that as well. So again smarter, not harder, right? Smarter, not harder. And when you spend too much money, things can become harder because now you create financial stress on a bunch of things as well there.
Speaker 1:What about for generating patient engagement and retention? What are some things out there? Birdeye, zocdoc I know you guys have seen ZocDoc AI. It enhances patient appointed bookings and integrates with your practice management system. Just makes it super easy all over social media and your Google to just book appointments for you. Do you need this? No, as long as the patients have a system that they understand on how to book appointments, that's great.
Speaker 1:I think the most important thing is where people find you. Where is the first landing point of contact? Where they find you? I think about this For many of you 9 out of 10. Of contact where they find you. I think about this for many of you nine out of 10 of you. It's your website, okay, so don't overthink this. That's the answer to this. They search on Bing or Google or DuckDuckGo and they look for chiropractor near me or best chiropractor in the area. You show up because you've done the keyword stuff. So you show up on the map or wherever it is and they're like, oh, that's good.
Speaker 1:Then what's the first instinctive thing that most people do I'd say four out of five people looking go to the reviews, and what they naturally do subconsciously is they look at the ones with the most. So they'll see one that has 35 reviews, then they'll see one that has 330. Then they see one that has 147. Then they go right back up to the 330 and they click that one first. They I mean that's who they're clicking on first. That's the website that they're clicking on first. Okay, the other one out of five that are searching you are searching from an insurance website. So they went into Blue Cross, blue Shield and looked for chiropractor and click the closest to me thing that's where the other, maybe 15% of people are going is finding you from that. If you're a cash office, you're not even going to show up on that list, right? So you'll lose them, which is okay, and then, if you're if you are, they're calling your office from that or some of the websites I know Edna's a little bit better. They can actually click your website and go learn more there, but typically they're calling. So what's your capture for these people that are calling from insurance? You have to have systems and procedures around this. If you're basically an insurance office, you probably have that first call down Everyone that calls yeah, we're in your insurance. There's two things you need to keep in mind. We've got to check if you've exhausted them, if your benefits are there, if you have a deduction, you tell them all that stuff and you get them going. So that's it Some things you can look for there.
Speaker 1:And then AI, analytics and reporting. I'm a big fan of this. Check out Google Analytics 4. Learn it. Just the basics. Very simple. They have all these new tools. They're just putting Google Analytics 4 into the Google search bar and it shows you Google for developers, even though you're not a developer. Go for it, click on it and there's a simple video series that you watch to show you the backend of Google analytics, which shows you your keywords, where your web traffic is coming from and how you can improve things, learn and understand so you know which content to create and which keywords to produce right. That's the stuff there. Zoho, analytics and other things these are things you can pay for. I like all the Google stuff because it's free. That's great there and they are probably the best. They know Google better than anyone else.
Speaker 1:And then AI for personal patient education there's healthy and scribe how these create step-by-step guides for patients to better understand their treatment plans or exercises. That's a really cool AI thing. You might want to into Scribehow S-C-R-I-B-E-H-O-W how. That one is a cool thing that just record. You record everything that you're doing and it creates treatment plans and exercise plans for the patient in with pictures and text that you can automatically send to them via email after each. So if you're sitting there in your treatment room and you're like, listen, these are the wall stretches I want you to do for frozen shoulder, put a piece of masking tape, crawl up the wall, see how you describe this. It's recording it and it's producing an entire document out of it and scribe how is HIPAA compliant, meaning that it will scrub the patient name and information from there. So if you're saying any sensitive information like, hey, mike, it just works well, because never are you repeating the first, last name, birthdate and address of the patient in the treatment room. You're never really saying those things out loud, so there's really nothing there. You may use their first name, but that's about it, and that can show up or can be scrubbed right out of it. That's a cool one Little things out there for you.
Speaker 1:All this podcast was supposed to do is to decrease the fear of AI. It's 2025. You've got to stay on top of this stuff because the world is moving like this. I kind of pre-framed this at the beginning of 2024, saying your competitors are going to do this. You better stay on top of this or else you're going to be in the dust. That was more of a scare tactic, I think, than anything else. Why, I don't know. I don't own any companies, but I think that was the wrong preface for that. That was the wrong emotional sentence to use for that. You need to stay on top of this because the world is moving in this direction.
Speaker 1:People are just craving ease. They just want things to be easy. They don't want to call and then book and then have a three appointment series before their first adjustment and have all this paperwork and they want it easy. If the paperwork is emailed to them, when they click the button it should be fillable, adobe fillable or whatever, just fillable. They just start typing and then they hit send and it goes right back to you. There's none of this printing or it doesn't actually show up, or it doesn't go through or there's glitches.
Speaker 1:I forget what we use in our office. We use a document, one Dang it. It's not coming to my mind, I'm sorry, but anyways, we use one there and it dock jot form or something like that, I don't know, and it works super clean. So every email that comes in, it's filled, it's ready to go and we just upload it into there.
Speaker 1:Another step was maybe finding one that automatically like see, I know Kira touch CT intake. It's not good, they still have. It's like 10 years outdated, it's not clean, it's hard to open up, it's hip, heavy back end to protect. It just doesn't. It's not clean. But once that does go through and the email comes through, it's automatically populated into the demographics, into Kairotouch. I don't know if Platinum does this or any of the other ones, I'm sure they do, but these are the ones that end up helping your business grow, so look into it. That's your homework for right now. Look into these things, implement some of them. That will speed and it might get you creating more content that will generate more new patients. That's the whole point of this. Go get them tigers and keep doing what you do. Your communities need you.
